Concrete stairs

Concrete stairs

With our concrete staircase, we illustrate the advantages of 3D concrete printing, from design to realization, with CO2 reduction as the biggest asset. Our concrete staircase has a 60% smaller ecological footprint than a standard prefab staircase, partly due to the absence of reinforcement steel and the use of less concrete by printing hollow steps. Discover our 3D-printed concrete staircases at various locations, both nationally and internationally.

Designing the concrete staircases is extremely easy and fast thanks to our parametric tool. The design can be effortlessly configured via our online design tool. Of course, you can also simply email the required dimensions or a drawing to jeanpierre.vandongen@weberbeamix.nl.

Additionally, our concrete staircases are particularly suitable for various applications, such as dike reinforcement, railway embankments, and all kinds of other slopes. Whether it's climbing steep slopes for maintenance purposes or providing safe access for pedestrians in challenging areas, our concrete staircases are custom-designed and manufactured to meet your specific requirements. Thanks to their robust construction and anti-slip surface, these staircases are ideal for use in outdoor environments where safety and reliability are of utmost importance.

Advantages of a 3D-printed concrete staircase:

  • Approximately 30% cheaper than a standard prefab staircase;
  • Delivery time within three weeks;
  • Perfectly customized;
  • Over 50% more sustainable than a standard prefab staircase;
  • Easy to handle and assemble;
  • Fully compliant with building regulations.

The standard options for our 3D-printed concrete staircase are carefully designed to meet the most common needs of a concrete staircase. The staircase has a maximum length of 20 meters, a maximum width of 2 meters, and can be designed up to a height of 9.5 meters using the standard tool. The step height varies between 120 and 210 mm, depending on your specific requirements. Other dimensions, such as higher staircases, are handled upon request.

Quality

The stair components have been tested by Nebest for slip resistance using the Cooper Pendulum Skid Resistance Tester (SRT), in accordance with the NEN-EN 13036-4 standard.

During the production process, Weber 3D 160-1 is used. This is a dry mortar specifically designed for 3D concrete printing applications. Click here for all the benefits and specifications of the mortar.
